Northwest Fieldtrip is intended for contacting old native cultures that once belonged to the Inca Empire. During this trip, students will also meet artists, archaeologists, and local students.
The delegation from the College of Charleston donated art supplies for drawing and art classes to the Molila rural school, located at the selvatic mountains (Yungas) of Jujuy. Those supplies will reach this remote area by llamas in May, once the raining season ends. This one day trip is possible thanks to the partnership we´ve developed with Caravana de Llamas, an ecotourism company committed to expand the sustainable use of llamas as a traditional means of transportation inherited from the Inca culture. www.caravanadellamas.com
